Location of Berhampur

Brahmapur is located in the Ganjam district of Orissa, India. It lies on the eastern coastline of India and is located at about 160 km from the state capital Bhubaneswar.

By Air

The nearest airport to reach Berhampur is in Bhubaneshwar at about 168 km away. It has connectivity to the major airports in India. Berhampur (Brahmapur) has its own airport now known as Brahmapur Airport, but it does not have any commercial flights.

By Rail

Berhampur has its own railway station and it lies on the major railway line connecting the major cities. Most of the trains stop there. It has connectivity to Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cuttack, Nagpur, Pune, Puri and other important cities.

By Road

Berhampur is connected well to other towns/city of Orissa and other states by National Highways NH-16 (Chennai-Kolkata) and NH-217 (Gopalpur-Raipur). Frequent buses are available to Berhampur from all destinations including Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Kolkata.
