Location of Brahmapur

Brahmapur is located in the Ganjam district of Odisha, India. It lies on the eastern coastline of India and is located about 160 km from the state capital, Bhubaneswar.

By Air

The nearest airport to reach Brahmapur is in Bhubaneshwar, about 168 km away. It has connectivity to the major airports in India. Brahmapur has its own airport now known as Brahmapur Airport, but it does not have any commercial flights.

By Rail

Berhampur has its own railway station and it lies on the major railway line connecting the major cities. Most of the trains stop there. It has connectivity to Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cuttack, Nagpur, Pune, Puri and other important cities.

By Road

Brahmapur is well connected to other towns/city of Odisha and other states by National Highways NH-16 (Chennai-Kolkata) and NH-217 (Gopalpur-Raipur). Frequent buses are available to Brahmapur from all destinations, including Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Kolkata.
