About the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

The department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is established in the year of 2013 with an intake of 60 students. The faculties of the department have expertise in various emerging fields of Communication systems, Image and signal processing, VLSI and Embedded systems, etc. The students are trained to take responsibility for enhancing the performance of the telecommunication systems with new ideas and managerial skills.

Some of the courses offered under this programme to make students industry-ready include analog and digital logic circuits, transmission lines and wave guides, concept of pipelining and parallel processing, audio/video electronics & broadcasting, Antenna and Wave propagation, Microwave Engineering, VLSI design and lots more. All these courses are reinforced by state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. Recently, the department has received a grant of 65.19 Lakhs from MeitY, Govt. of India under the Chip-to-startup (C2S) scheme, getting it equipped with all industry-standard EDA tools and FPGA boards. Graduates of the department get to work with several MNCs in both IT and Core domains.

About the Department of Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering formulates the basis of most modern applied technologies. It nurtures fundamental science over the expansions in to Electrical Instrumentation, Control, Power Electronics, Renewables, Smart systems, Electric Automobiles, Avionics, Bio-Medical Instrumentation etc. In Electrical engineering, the horizon is the limit. This department was founded in the year 2009. Since then, the department has come a long way with lateral expansions. Presently, the student intake capacity in B.Tech program is 120, and the Post Graduate program in Power Systems is 18.

The department focuses on utilizing its resources to craft creative minds for searching for solutions to the real-world problems. To emerge as a nationally recognised centre of excellence for professional education in Electrical Engineering by imparting quality education towards the holistic development of students, with emphasis on academics, research and technological services for the betterment of society.

About the Conference

The 1st International Conference on “Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning in Communication and Power Systems” AIMLCPS 2026 is being organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Parala Maharaja Engineering College, during 20th – 21st February 2026 in hybrid mode. The objective is to provide a prolific platform for academicians, scientists, researchers, engineers and students to update themselves on recent trends and likely future research directions related to Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The conference aims to foster the theme through keynote addresses, invited talks, and oral presentations of research articles in the most relevant areas allied to the theme of the conference. The conference will provide an international platform for delegates, to share research ideas, exchange scientific thoughts and open possibilities of new collaborations on research problems for academicians, researchers, technologists and scientists. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. Papers submitted to AIMLCPS 2026 should contain original research/study and should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The IEEE anti-plagiarism policy is applicable to all submissions. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present his/her paper.
